If you’re not currently using TikTok in your marketing strategy you should be after it was announced to be the most downloaded social app this September!
According to Sensor Tower, TikTok was the most downloaded app on both iOS and Android last month.
The report explained: “TikTok was the most downloaded social media app worldwide for September 2019 with close to 60 million installs, The countries with the most installs of this app during this period were India at 44% of its total downloads and the US at 8%.”
Concerns Regarding TikTok
Despite the apps very rapid success, there are still some concerns. Whilst the numbers are good they don’t necessarily translate into active users – and we must remember this. So, we still need some more time before establishing its impact on popular culture. As well as determining its active users and advertisers, especially before throwing our all into marketing on the app.
There’s no denying that the Chinese-owned app has appeal, and with these record-breaking downloads were expecting more and more users in the coming months.
